Genesis 2:19

Καὶ ἔπλασεν ὁ Θεὸς ἔτι ἐκ τῆς γῆς πάντα τὰ θηρία τοῦ ἀγροῦ καὶ πάντα τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἤγαγεν αὐτὰ πρὸς τὸν Ἀδὰμ ἰδεῖν, τί καλέσει αὐτά, καὶ πᾶν, ὃ ἐὰν ἐκάλεσεν αὐτὸ Ἀδὰμ ψυχὴν ζῶσαν, τοῦτο ὄνομα αὐτοῦ.

And God formed yet out of the earth all the animals of the field, and all the birds of the sky, and He brought them to Adam, to see what he would call them, and whatever Adam called any living creature, this was its name.

ויצר יהוה אלהים מן־האדמה כל־חית השׂדה ואת כל־עוף השׁמים ויבא אל־האדם לראות מה־יקרא־לו וכל אשׁר יקרא־לו האדם נפשׁ חיה הוא שׁמו׃
