Ἐπειδὴ δὲ παρῆλθον αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ πένθους, ἐλάλησεν Ἰωσὴφ πρὸς τοὺς δυνάστας Φαραὼ λέγων· Εἰ εὗρον χάριν ἐναντίον ὑμῶν, λαλήσατε περὶ ἐμοῦ εἰς τὰ ὦτα Φαραὼ λέγοντες·
Then when the days of mourning were past, Ioseph spoke to the rulers of Pharao, saying, “If I have found favor before you, speak about me in the ears of Pharao, saying,
ויעברו ימי בכיתו וידבר יוסף אל־בית פרעה לאמר אם־נא מצאתי חן בעיניכם דברו־נא באזני פרעה לאמר׃
