Ἐγὼ δὲ ἡνίκα ἠρχόμην ἐκ Μεσοποταμίας τῆς Συρίας, ἀπέθανεν Ῥαχὴλ ἡ μήτηρ σου ἐν γῇ Χανάαν ἐγγίζοντός μου κατὰ τὸν ἱππόδρομον Χαβραθὰ τῆς γῆς τοῦ ἐλθεῖν Ἐφράθα, καὶ κατώρυξα αὐτὴν ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ τοῦ ἱπποδρόμου· αὕτη ἐστὶν Βηθλεέμ.
