Καὶ οὐκ ἐχρόνισεν ὁ νεανίσκος τοῦ ποιῆσαι τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο· ἐνέκειτο γὰρ τῇ θυγατρὶ Ἰακώβ· αὐτὸς δὲ ἦν ἐνδοξότατος πάντων τῶν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ.
And the young man did not delay to do this thing, for he was intensely occupied with Iakob’s daughter; now he was the most esteemed of all in his father’s house.
ולא־אחר הנער לעשׂות הדבר כי חפץ בבת־יעקב והוא נכבד מכל בית אביו׃
