Ἔλαβεν δὲ Ἀβραὰμ τὰ ξύλα τῆς ὁλοκαρπώσεως καὶ ἐπέθηκεν Ἰσαὰκ τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ· ἔλαβεν δὲ καὶ τὸ πῦρ μετὰ χεῖρα καὶ τὴν μάχαιραν, καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν οἱ δύο ἅμα.
Then Abraam took the wood of the whole burnt offering and laid it on Isaak his son; then he took with his hands both the fire and the knife, and the two went together.
ויקח אברהם את־עצי העלה וישׂם על־יצחק בנו ויקח בידו את־האשׁ ואת־המאכלת וילכו שׁניהם יחדו׃
