Καὶ εἰσάξω σε εἰς γῆν ῥέουσαν γάλα καὶ μέλι· οὐ γὰρ μὴ συναναβῶ μετὰ σοῦ διὰ τὸ λαὸν σκληροτράχηλόν σε εἶναι, ἵνα μὴ ἐξαναλώσω σε ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ.
And I will bring you into a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up together with you, because you are a stiff-necked people, lest I exterminate you in the way.
אל־ארץ זבת חלב ודבשׁ כי לא אעלה בקרבך כי עם־קשׁה־ערף אתה פן־אכלך בדרך׃
