Ἐὰν δέ τις πατάξῃ τὸν ὀφθαλμὸν τοῦ οἰκέτου αὐτοῦ ἢ τὸν ὀφθαλμὸν τῆς θεραπαίνης αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐκτυφλώσῃ, ἐλευθέρους ἐξαποστελεῖ αὐτοὺς ἀντὶ τοῦ ὀφθαλμοῦ αὐτῶν.
Now if anyone strike the eye of his manservant or the eye of his maidservant and to make him blind, he shall send them away free for their eye’s sake.
וכי־יכה אישׁ את־עין עבדו או־את־עין אמתו ושׁחתה לחפשׁי ישׁלחנו תחת עינו׃

* send them away free OR release them as free persons OR let them go free
