Καὶ ἐκύκλωσεν ὁ Θεὸς τὸν λαὸν ὁδὸν τὴν εἰς τὴν ἔρημον εἰς τὴν ἐρυθρὰν θάλασσαν. πέμπτη δὲ γενεὰ ἀνέβησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου.
And God led the people by roundabout way into the wilderness to the Red Sea. Then in the fifth generation the sons of Israel went up out of the land of Egypt.
