Καὶ ἔδωκαν τῷ Ἰακὼβ τοὺς θεοὺς τοὺς ἀλλοτρίους, οἳ ἦσαν ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτῶν, καὶ τὰ ἐνώτια τὰ ἐν τοῖς ὠσὶν αὐτῶν, καὶ κατέκρυψεν αὐτὰ Ἰακὼβ ὑπὸ τὴν τερέβινθον τὴν ἐν Σικίμοις καὶ ἀπώλεσεν αὐτὰ ἕως τῆς σήμερον ἡμέρας.
And they gave to Iakob the foreign gods, which were in their hands, and the ear-rings which were in their ears, and Iakob hid them under the terebinth which is in Sikim and he destroyed them to this day.
ויתנו אל־יעקב את כל־אלהי הנכר אשׁר בידם ואת־הנזמים אשׁר באזניהם ויטמן אתם יעקב תחת האלה אשׁר עם־שׁכם׃
