Καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Ἀβιμέλεχ· Οὐκ ἔγνων τίς ἐποίησεν τὸ πρᾶγμα τοῦτο· οὐδὲ σύ μοι ἀπήγγειλας, οὐδὲ ἐγὼ ἤκουσα ἀλλ᾿ ἢ σήμερον.
And Abimelech said to him, “I did not know who has done this thing to you, neither did you tell me, nor have I heard (of it) but today.”
ויאמר אבימלך לא ידעתי מי עשׂה את־הדבר הזה וגם־אתה לא־הגדת לי וגם אנכי לא שׁמעתי בלתי היום׃
