παρέβησαν ταχὺ ἐκ τῆς ὁδοῦ, ἧς ἐνετείλω αὐτοῖς· ἐποίησαν ἑαυτοῖς μόσχον καὶ προσκεκυνήκασιν αὐτῷ καὶ τεθύκασιν αὐτῷ καὶ εἶπαν· Οὗτοι οἱ θεοί σου, Ἰσραήλ, οἵτινες ἀνεβίβασάν σε ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου.
they have quickly gone astray from the way which you commanded them; they have made for themselves a calf and worshiped it, and sacrificed to it and said: ‘These are your gods, Israel, who brought you up from the land of Egypt.’
סרו מהר מן־הדרך אשׁר צויתם עשׂו להם עגל מסכה וישׁתחוו־לו ויזבחו־לו ויאמרו אלה אלהיך ישׂראל אשׁר העלוך מארץ מצרים׃
