Ἐὰν δὲ αἰτήσῃ τις παρὰ τοῦ πλησίον, καὶ συντριβῇ ἢ ἀποθάνῃ ἢ αἰχμάλωτον γένηται, ὁ δὲ κύριος μὴ ᾖ μετ᾿ αὐτοῦ, ἀποτείσει·
Now if anyone asks from the neighbor, and it breaks a limb or dies or is captured, but the owner is not with it, he shall pay compensation;
