Εἶπεν δὲ Μωυσῆς τῷ Ἰησοῦ· Ἐπίλεξον σεαυτῷ ἄνδρας δυνατοὺς καὶ ἐξελθὼν παράταξαι τῷ Ἀμαλὴκ αὔριον, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἕστηκα ἐπὶ τῆς κορυφῆς τοῦ βουνοῦ, καὶ ἡ ῥάβδος τοῦ Θεοῦ ἐν τῇ χειρί μου.
Then Moses said to Iesous, “Choose for yourself capable men and go out and mobilize against Amalek tomorrow, and look, I shall stand on the highest spot of the mountain, and the staff of God in my hand.”
ויאמר משׁה אל־יהושׁע בחר־לנו אנשׁים וצא הלחם בעמלק מחר אנכי נצב על־ראשׁ הגבעה ומטה האלהים בידי׃
