Exodus 14:7

καὶ ἔλαβεν ἑξακόσια ἅρματα ἐκλεκτὰ καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν ἵππον τῶν Αἰγυπτίων καὶ τριστάτας ἐπὶ πάντων.

and he took six hundred chosen chariots and all the cavalry of the Egyptians and third-ranked officers over all.

ויקח שׁשׁ־מאות רכב בחור וכל רכב מצרים ושׁלשׁם על־כלו׃

 

*   ἔλαβεν | λαβὼν
*   third-ranked officers OR military officers of high rank OR vizier (one who stands next to the king and queen). In ancient Egypt the highest-ranking government official, appointed by the pharaoh and acting as his chancellor, is called vizier by modern researchers.
