Exodus 12:39

Καὶ ἔπεψαν τὸ σταῖς, ὃ ἐξήνεγκαν ἐξ Αἰγύπτου, ἐγκρυφίας ἀζύμους· οὐ γὰρ ἐζυμώθη· ἐξέβαλον γὰρ αὐτοὺς οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι, καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνήθησαν ἐπιμεῖναι οὐδὲ ἐπισιτισμὸν ἐποίησαν ἑαυτοῖς εἰς τὴν ὁδόν.

And they baked the dough, which they brought out of Egypt, unleavened cakes; for it had not been leavened; for the Egyptians cast them out, and they were not able to remain, neither did they make provision for themselves for the journey.

ויאפו את־הבצק אשׁר הוציאו ממצרים עגת מצות כי לא חמץ כי־גרשׁו ממצרים ולא יכלו להתמהמה וגם־צדה לא־עשׂו להם׃

 

*   ἐγκρυφίας = cake baked in ashes of coal fire
