Συνέταξεν δὲ Φαραὼ παντὶ τῷ λαῷ αὐτοῦ λέγων· Πᾶν ἄρσεν, ὃ ἐὰν τεχθῇ τοῖς Ἑβραίοις, εἰς τὸν ποταμὸν ῥίψατε·, καὶ πᾶν θῆλυ, ζωογονεῖτε αὐτό.
Then Pharao ordered all his people, saying, “Every male, if he was born to the Hebrews, throw into the river, and every female, keep it alive.”
