Οὕτως εἴπατε Ἰωσήφ· Ἄφες αὐτοῖς τὴν ἀδικίαν καὶ τὴν ἁμαρτίαν αὐτῶν, ὅτι πονηρά σοι ἐνεδείξαντο· καὶ νῦν δέξαι τὴν ἀδικίαν τῶν θεραπόντων τοῦ Θεοῦ τοῦ πατρός σου. καὶ ἔκλαυσεν Ἰωσὴφ λαλούντων αὐτῶν πρὸς αὐτόν.
‘Thus say to Ioseph, “Forgive them their wrongdoing and sin, because they have done evil to you; and now forgive the wrongdoing of the servants of the God of your father.”‘ And Ioseph wept while they were speaking to him.
כה־תאמרו ליוסף אנא שׂא נא פשׁע אחיך וחטאתם כי־רעה גמלוך ועתה שׂא נא לפשׁע עבדי אלהי אביך ויבך יוסף בדברם אליו׃
