ἐγένετο δὲ αὐτῷ κτήνη προβάτων καὶ κτήνη βοῶν καὶ γεώργια πολλά. ἐζήλωσαν δὲ αὐτὸν οἱ Φυλιστιίμ·
now he came to have flocks of sheep and herds of oxen and many fields. But the Phylistiim envied him;
ויהי־לו מקנה־צאן ומקנה בקר ועבדה רבה ויקנאו אתו פלשׁתים׃
