Ἰακὼβ δὲ ἔδωκεν τῷ Ἠσαὺ ἄρτον καὶ ἕψεμα φακοῦ, καὶ ἔφαγεν καὶ ἔπιεν καὶ ἀναστὰς ᾤχετο· καὶ ἐφαύλισεν Ἠσαὺ τὰ πρωτοτόκια.
Then Ιaκob gave bread to Esau and lentil stew, and he ate and drank and rising up he went away; and Esau disdained the birthright.
ויעקב נתן לעשׂו לחם ונזיד עדשׁים ויאכל וישׁת ויקם וילך ויבז עשׂו את־הבכרה׃
