Καὶ ἔλαβεν Θάρα τὸν Ἀβρὰμ υἱὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸν Λὼτ υἱὸν Ἁρράν, υἱὸν τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὴν Σάραν τὴν νύμφην αὐτοῦ, γυναῖκα Ἀβρὰμ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐξήγαγεν αὐτοὺς ἐκ τῆς χώρας τῶν Χαλδαίων πορευθῆναι εἰς τὴν γῆν Χανάαν καὶ ἦλθον ἕως Χαρράν καὶ κατῴκησεν ἐκεῖ.
And Thara took Abram his son and Lot the son Harran, the son of his son, and Sara his daughter-in-law, the wife of Abram his son, and led them out of the land of the Chaldeans, to go to the land of Chanaan and they came as far as Charran and settled there.
ויקח תרח את־אברם בנו ואת־לוט בן־הרן בן־בנו ואת שׂרי כלתו אשׁת אברם בנו ויצאו אתם מאור כשׂדים ללכת ארצה כנען ויבאו עד־חרן וישׁבו שׁם׃
