Ἐβόησεν δὲ Μωυσῆς πρὸς Κύριον· καὶ ἔδειξεν αὐτῷ Κύριος ξύλον, καὶ ἐνέβαλεν αὐτὸ εἰς τὸ ὕδωρ, καὶ ἐγλυκάνθη τὸ ὕδωρ. ἐκεῖ ἔθετο αὐτῷ δικαιώματα καὶ κρίσεις καὶ ἐκεῖ ἐπείρασεν αὐτὸν,
Then Moses cried to the LORD; and the LORD showed him a tree, and he threw it into the water, and the water was sweetened. There he established for him ordinances and judgments and there he tested him,
ויצעק אל־יהוה ויורהו יהוה עץ וישׁלך אל־המים וימתקו המים שׁם שׂם לו חק ומשׁפט ושׁם נסהו׃
