Μήποτε θῇς διαθήκην τοῖς ἐγκαθημένοις ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, καὶ ἐκπορνεύσωσιν ὀπίσω τῶν θεῶν αὐτῶν, καὶ θύσωσι τοῖς θεοῖς αὐτῶν, καὶ καλέσωσίν σε καὶ φάγῃς τῶν θυμάτων αὐτῶν,
Lest at any time you establish a covenant with those dwelling on the land, and they go fornicating after their gods, and sacrifice to their gods, and they call you and you should eat of their sacrifices,
פן־תכרת ברית ליושׁב הארץ וזנו אחרי אלהיהם וזבחו לאלהיהם וקרא לך ואכלת מזבחו׃
