τῷ δὲ ἑβδόμῳ ἄφεσιν ποιήσεις καὶ ἀνήσεις αὐτήν, καὶ ἔδονται οἱ πτωχοὶ τοῦ ἔθνους σου, τὰ δὲ ὑπολειπόμενα αὐτῶν ἔδεται τὰ ἄγρια τὰ θηρία. οὕτως ποιήσεις τὸν ἀμπελῶνά σου καὶ τὸν ἐλαιῶνά σου.
but in the seventh (year) you shall let it rest and leave it, and it shall be eaten by the poor of your nation, but that which is left of them shall be eaten by the wild animals of the field. Thus you shall do to your vineyard and to your olive grove.
והשׁביעת תשׁמטנה ונטשׁתה ואכלו אביני עמך ויתרם תאכל חית השׂדה כן־תעשׂה לכרמך לזיתך׃
