Exodus 17:3

Ἐδίψησεν δὲ ἐκεῖ ὁ λαὸς ὕδατι, καὶ ἐγόγγυζεν ἐκεῖ ὁ λαὸς πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγοντες· Ἵνα τί τοῦτο ἀνεβίβασας ἡμᾶς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου ἀποκτεῖναι ἡμᾶς καὶ τὰ τέκνα ἡμῶν καὶ τὰ κτήνη τῷ δίψει;

But the people thirsted there for water, and there the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “Why is this that you brought us up out of Egypt to kill us and our children and the cattle with thirst?”

ויצמא שׁם העם למים וילן העם על־משׁה ויאמר למה זה העליתנו ממצרים להמית אתי ואת־בני ואת־מקני בצמא׃

*   ἐγόγγυζεν | διεγόγγυζεν
*   Ἵνα τί τοῦτο : LXX agrees with Masoretic Text למה זה ; Samaritan Pentateuch omits  זה (τοῦτο)
